Dove’s Self-Esteem Project is a global movement designed to help young girls navigate beauty standards with confidence. For this activation, Dove partnered with Walmart to create an immersive, interactive experience that brought their mission to life in a tangible, impactful way.The Challenge: Social media and unattainable beauty standards continue to distort self-image for young girls. The goal was to create a real-world experience that encouraged open conversations, fostered confidence, and made self-esteem resources accessible in an engaging way.

The Big Idea: We transformed a two week pilot event into an interactive, multi-layered experience, inviting girls and their mentors to participate in activities designed to educate, empower, and inspire. The experience reinforced Walmart as the go-to destination for trusted, body-positive beauty products while seamlessly integrating Dove’s mission into every touchpoint.
The footprint was designed as an experiential journey, featuring:
The Confidence Maze – A walk-through experience with empowering affirmations, interactive art installations, and real stories from young girls.
Truth or Dare Wall – A playful, confidence-boosting activation that encouraged participants to step outside their comfort zone.
Envelope Wall: Build Confidence – A heartfelt installation where participants could take home messages of encouragement and positivity.
Interactive Photo Moments – Designed for organic engagement, allowing attendees to capture and share their experience while reinforcing key self-esteem messages.
Self-Esteem Workshop – Live mentorship and resource distribution to continue the movement beyond the event.
